Priya’s Picks:

When the holiday season approaches each year, I get most excited about how to dress and doll up for the season (that and presents, of course!). The holidays are a perfect time to shine, sparkle and dazzle for the office holiday party, girls night out or date night. It’s the one time of year, you can have that much more reason to shine — so I always look forward to accentuating my holiday looks with a little extra icing on the cake.
This year, I am all about the bold black and red (keeping it seasonal and festive of course), and pairing it beautifully with the right pieces. There is a certain elegance with keeping the color bold and the jewelry even bolder.

FAUX PEARL AND RHINESTONE HIGH COLLAR NECKLACE 1980s, $285

Faux Peal and Rhiinestone Necklace

What better way to make heads turn than this dramatic, high neck collar necklace. Try pairing this with an off-the-shoulder black, slouchy sweater for an instant, elegant look. Simple yet promisingly stunning with total ease. The pearls and rhinestones will offset a solid color perfectly, without trying too hard.

STATEMENT ROPE LINK BRACELET 1980s, $165

Rope Link Bracelet

A girl should be two things, classy and fabulous. And she can do it in this striking, statement rope link bracelet paired with a cocktail dress. Add the spice your outfit needs when heading to your holiday cocktail party. This piece is feminine and flirty making you festive through the new year!

GOLD-TONE STAR DROP EARRINGS 1980s, $115

Gold-Tone Star Star Drop Earrings 1980s

Shine like the star you are in these gold-tone star drop earrings. A beautiful addition to complete a festive look will make just about anyone swoon. Pair these with a jumpsuit or long dress and be the dazzling star of the night. You may even give the Christmas tree some competition.

Lynn’s Picks:

There’s nothing quite like the gift of vintage jewelry – these baubles are unique and timeless. Jewelry is almost certainly always at the top of every woman’s “wish list” when it comes to the holidays, I know it is year after year for me! This year, I’m all about bold pieces that make a statement on their own.

SLEEK LEOPARd BYPASS BRACELET 1960s, $225

Leopard Bypass Bracelet

What says luxury more than emeralds, elegant leopards, and a cuff bracelet all rolled into one? Absolutely nothing. I would wear this bracelet to add a big dose of glam to any outfit, casual or fancy.

FAUX PEARL FLAPPER NECKLACE 1960s, $285

Pearls have an effortless elegance, and instantly glam up any look. I love the delicate strands that feature the {faux} pearls on this necklace as well as the intricate beading. I would wear this vintage confection with a pair of boyfriend jeans, a tee, and a blazer for a casual-glam look.

RHINESTONE FLOWER MOTIF RING 1950s, $145

Rhinestone Flower Ring

I love the intricate details on this ring. I’d add it as a regal touch to a cocktail look.

BIJOUX MENAGERIE: THE HOLIDAY JEWELRY WARDROBE

Satement jewelry

Nothing gives me more joy then finding that spectacular piece of vintage costume jewelry for my e-boutique. This year I made a major score when I found  a Kenneth Jay Lane filigree rhinestone belt set with subtle, smoky, and aurora borealis stones. It’s a rare find and is more then a piece of jewelry it’s an object be admired and treasured. Another fantastic find was of a more bohemian vibe–an artisanal faux baroque multi-strand stunner with sterling charms and clear glass cabochons inlaid with shell. What I like about both pieces is that the opulence is tempered by a subtle color palette.

This year, I’ve asked fashion bloggers and frequent contributors Caity of Moi Contre La Vie and Anne Jude Kiesow to add their fave pieces to the Holiday Gift Guide.
We wish you a glamorous holiday!

Sasha’s picks:

{Top Left - Vendome Demi-Parure, Top Right - Arabesque Brooch, Bottom Left – Mult-Strand Chain Necklace , Bottom Right – Trifari Ball Drop Earrings}

The Vendome milk glass shell multi-strand necklace with matching earrings adorned with aurora borealis faceted beads, showcasing a rhinestone studded clasp is unique pieces that’s is so dressy but doesn’t take itself too seriously. Wear this exuberant piece to a cocktail party or pair with a T for an instant style upgrade. See how I styled then necklace in the Styling 101: Holiday Dressing post.

The Arabesque gold-tone brooch is a favorite because of the lively design that lends the piece so much movement and gorgeous texture. This is certainly one of the most versatile pieces to own.
Wear alone, or clustered with other brooches. Can be worn, on a coat, a dress, a scarf, at the waist of a dress, the possibilities are endless.

The Trifari beaded ball drop earrings are colorful and simply fun. Dance the night away in these shimmering, dangly creations.

The muliti-chain necklace is one of my all time bestsellers. This example features my favorite snake chain in a flat design. It lays beautifully on the collarbone and the substantial clasp can be worn to the side.
This is a versatile piece you can wear everyday and never get bored with!

Moi Contre La Vie’s picks:

The holidays are the perfect time to amp up the drama with statement pieces that’ll compliment the sequins and shimmer that are the hallmark of holiday parties. So to help you decide just what fabulous pieces you should be piling on for your next event here are my favorite picks for the holidays.

{Top Left – Givenchy Enamel Zebra Necklace, Top Right – Joel Powell Faux Pearl Oval Link Bracelet, Bottom Left – Faux Jade Cocktail Ring & Bottom Right – Star Earrings}

That Givenchy zebra collar is one of my all-time favorite pieces – It’s dramatic and eye-catching, and could be worn with virtually any outfit – From a cocktail dress to a wrap dress for the office.

I adore pearls and finding a great pearl bracelet or cuff is a must – It adds a touch of sophistication to any look. I could easily see this being the central focal point of a look or even toning down the formalness by stacking it with other large pieces.

Jade is another favorite of mine and I love how this ring is simultaneously totally classic and totally unique. The one-of-a-kind setting guarantees whenever you wear this ring people will be asking about it!

I got a chance to model these star earrings in the Styling 101: Starry Eyed photo shoot and instantly fell in love. They’re fun, stylish, and will spice up any look – Whether you’re wearing a fun print or basic black, a statement piece like these earrings is the icing on the cake!

Anné Jude’s picks:

What says happy holidays better than bright, unique, happy jewels? Nothing feels more festive than showing up to a winter party decked with interesting statement pieces (I’m not talking Christmas sweaters). Each of my picks shine with classic elegance while remaining utterly unpredictable. Now that’s the magic of the holidays.

{Top Left – Kenneth Lane Glam Door Knocker Earrings, Top Right – Weiss Saphire Swirl Brooch & Earrings, Bottom Left – Mod Yellow & Red Ball Drop Earrings, Bottom Right – Zebra Pendant Necklace}

The Glam Door Knocker earrings have been one of my  favorite SMV pieces since the moment I laid eyes on them. Lion doorknockers evoke thoughts of luxury, glamour and prestige. The fact they are earrings – meant to adorn your lobes and not the gilded door to your castle – is a funky, refreshing twist. They’re clever and timeless.

If you think holidays mean a red/green color palate, check out the Sapphire Swirl earrings and brooch and think again. While rubies and emeralds get the most credit from November to January, this demi-parure is simply stunning. Perfect companions for your winter soiree ensembles (snowflakes and black velvet come to mind) these two pieces easily transition all seasons.

The shiny, happy colors of the Mod Yellow and Red Ball Drop earrings are begging for a chance to show off on New Years Eve. I want to plan an outfit around these balloon-esque party jewels. I’m thinking a black and red simple short dress, accessorized with these earrings and a bright yellow clutch. Excuse me, I have to check my closet now…

I have a serious weakness for animal jewelry (let’s face it, animal anything). The Zebra Pendant necklace is insanely cool without being hipster. It looks expensive without being tame. It’s jaw dropping without being obnoxious. This piece can be worn with everything from a LBD to plaid jacket a white t-shirt. Surprisingly, I think it’s one of the most versatile necklaces.
