One of the perks of doing my jewelry trunk shows is discovering amazing local fashion brands.  Awhile back, I was invited to do an event at the Fashion Incubator in San Francisco (where I continuously discover exceptional talent). One of the other vendors was Evgenia, an FiSF alum. I  have heard of the the lingerie brand before, but seeing the exquisite pieces in person and meeting Stephanie Bodnar, the charming designer behind the brand, made me a huge fan of her brand!
I’m obsessed with the slip dress and it being such a huge trend right now you can find numerous iterations best suited for you. The slinky dress lends itself to countless styling options for day and night. Evgenia’s retro glam design really appealed to the vintage aficionado in me. To dress down  the lingerie inspired piece for day, I paired the Janus Short Gown with a vintage oversized denim jacket and sneakers. The silk and lace bias-cut dress contrasts beautifully with the sturdy jean fabric (this one is really special and was used as a uniform in pre-WWII France). And how gorge is the peek-a-boo French lace waist dotted with stars!
I layered two chunky necklaces and piled on bracelets in mixed metals to counter the feminine, flowy silhouette.

If you love modern lingerie with a retro glam twists designed for the bedroom and beyond, explore the Evgenia collection and enjoy free shipping with code SASHAMAKS0716 thru July 31st.
